Establishing the baseline and setting out the opportunity

The Challenge has two-long term targets: supporting the food and beverage sector to achieve an additional $1bn a year in export revenue by 2025 and to build New Zealand’s reputation as a source of validated foods for health and wellbeing. To establish baselines to measure progress, we have commissioned regular report: Measuring what counts, which analysed the financial contribution of high-value foods and Producing the goods, which assessed New Zealand’s reputation as an innovative source of validated foods.
